At Faunbank

We switched to a track system in 2021. We have found that this has had many benefits for the horses. Their fitness has improved through increased movement. It has become easier to manage ponies who are prone to weight gain. The horses have more variety and a more natural environment where they can choose high open ground, or sheltered lower wooded and hedged areas. We have 5 tracks so we can place companions in to suitable groups. We also have extra paddocks which can be optionally grazed when required. 2 of the tracks are on a 1km loop, and we have 2 shorter tracks on a half km loop. The 5th bafre track is on a 3/4 km loop.
